Politics...

Hello classmates... political system... I don't believe much in the Chilean political system, but well hahahahaha The political system from my point of view has been quite exclusive, indeed, I dare say that since the dictatorship it has not changed much. It continues to work for the country's elite. to be honest, i still believe the same since a some years ago, but i also feel that the very fact of living is doing politics because we are all totally different, we think differently and live different lifestyles. so we do politics day by day. In Chile I believe that the right to vote has been damaged mainly by the lack of confidence in those who have governed since we returned to democracy, most of them have been involved in corruption issues, abandonment of their positions, among others, so I wonder, will it be possible to trust again in new political representatives? From my point of view, no, but I also consider that it is extremely important to assert the right, if you do ...

Hi miss and classmates! hope you are well! finally this is our last blog :( but see you next semester hahahaha maybe.... I'm going to be quite honest, I really enjoyed the blogs because I felt like we got to know each other better (because the pandemic still exists) and I feel that it was an activity that "brought us closer", even though it was virtual. I think the blogs have helped me a lot to improve my English, particularly to write it and interact because I haven't practiced for a long time, besides I like English hahaha.  One of the great advantages of blogs is that it can be done in about two days, so we can think about what to talk about. mmm... I don't think I have any suggestions because I had too much fun writing the blogs hahaha but I think maybe in the previous course it should be incorporated because it is a very good complement. In my case I was able to strengthen my writing and reading If this is the last blog, hope you and your family are well. bye ...

Hello fellow English learners! I am going to tell you about a very interesting course (according to me hahaha). This fifth semester has been quite complicated, but I have enjoyed it a lot because I have learned many interesting and funny things. There is a very entertaining and amazing class, taught by Miss Karen Peña Rojas, the name of the class is "Growth and Development of Trees" where we learn mico and macroscopically how trees grow, their cellular structures and characteristics.  During this semester we learned about the different types of plant reproduction, the one I liked the most was plant micropropagation or in vitro cultivation. The truth is that during the classes I pay a lot of attention and I try to take notes and then study and sometimes do a little research about the contents.   Especially when they mentioned about in vitro culture, I was very interested so I researched about some experiments, I even joined Facebook groups hahahaha where they comment a lot...

[LS] Ladera Sur

Imagen
Hello english classmates, I will talk you about one of my favorite websites so far.... Since I have access to the internet I have always tried to research about many things, in fact the first platform I used was "Mi primera encarta" hahaha but now my favorite website is Ladera Sur, although it does not help me much for my university assignments, I use it a lot to guide me in them because it has a lot of information related to the nature of Chile.  also there are publications from scientific sources.  On the Ladera Sur website you can find more than seven categories, my favorites are: Destinations, Photography and Articles   Another feature of  laderasur.com  is that it allows you to publish your own events (related to the content of the web page), I think it is quite good because it allows a greater dissemination of knowledge and attracts many people with the same interests.  You can also follow us through different platforms such as instagra...

MY FAVORITE PHOTO 📸

Imagen
Hello everyone! now I'm going to show you a picture that I like very much and that is in many places  Ufff... this picture was taken a long time ago and the truth is that it was lost for many years. I remember it was on October 21, 2005 when I lived in Curicó, I was in a very nice school and I was the tallest in the class hahahahaha.  That day we had to wear a costume because we went to a "march for the children" and I dressed up as a clown 🤡hahahaha in the picture is also the teacher Karla. I don't really remember who took the picture, but I think it was another teacher. I liked very much to participate in that school because it was very funny, once I was Santa Claus🎅 hahaha so the photo brings back very good memories. at that time I was five years old and nine months old, I was a baby👶 hahaha

When i was a child i wanted to be an agronomist. i was always collecting plants or planting seeds all over the place waiting for trees to grow. When I applied to the university my first choice was forestry engineering because it is what I really like and my second choice was biology pedagogy, I am studying forestry engineering at the moment because it is a career that focuses mainly on native flora and I can learn a lot about forests.  When I started studying at the university I met many people and places, I learned many interesting things, but then the pandemic and the virtual classes started, so the experience in the faculty only lasted 1 year. In the future I would like to work as a teacher in schools because I think it is a job with a lot of vocation, but first I must finish my current degree and then study a postgraduate degree in education.
